0-20 full synthetic good or bad for 2.5 turbo engines

Hey guys a friend of mine has 3 cases 0-20 full synthetic oil. Do u guys recommend using this type of oil since it might be too thin?

I know people like to try all different types of oil but just use quality 5w30 fluids and stop on top it.
