    my02 alarm removal, help needed

    hi guys, alarm issues and troubleshooting have been done to death so sorry if i missed the answer to this, my alarm is going off constantly after getting it repaired from a front ender. i have cut the wire to the siren and the keypad works but lights flash whenever entering or turning off the car. no programming (keypad and ignition on/off sequences) has any effect and the remote does nothing. my question is how to physically remove the system, i looked for a black box under the console near the hand brake but it is not there, what do i need to do to get it out?
