    Hi All,

    I have a 07 STi, and I have the COBB Tuning Short Ram SF Intake System installed.

    COBB Tuning Short Ram SF Intake System Subaru WRX / STI / FXT 2002-2007 at RallySportDirect.com

    I was wondering when does the Intake need replacing, how often should this be done? Mine is a bit dirty, but not sure what should call for a replacement?

    Anything I should be on the lookout for?

    The intake itself doesn't get replaced, just the filter.

    It's an oiled filter, so you'd clean it before replacing it. Contact Cobb Tuning to see if they have a recommendation on replacement interval.

    When it looks obviously dirty? Clean it. If it's a reusable guy, no reason why you can't clean it whenever you see it dirty

    Clean it, re-oil it ... and it's as good as new!

    Cobb sells a cleaning kit ... here's a link for it.
