E85 fuel

Hey guys whats going on?

ok so i was wonderring about this E85 fuel and what i would need to do to my car if anything in order to run it.

and advise would be greatly appreciated!

High flow fuel pump (DW300 is popular), larger injectors (850cc or 1000cc depending on mods), and a **tune**.

You will see improved power output, but fuel economy drops significantly. Might want to check on availability in your area as well before even considering it.

ok well as for availability thats easy i have a gas sattion like 3 min form my house that sells it.

as for fuel pump i have a walboro255 would that be ok?

I have an 05 wrx with and sti built bottom end, my stock wrx heads, sti injectors, sti turbo, sti headers, mishimoto radiator, FMIC, short ram intake, and injectors i have the stock sti injectors in my car. would that hurt me if i ran E85? and as for tune thats no problem i am getting one done now the 15 of august

565cc injectors will not be enough to run E85, but that pump should be fine. Personally, I would have gone with the DW 300, but I've seen people run those Walbro's without issue on E85.

yea i just did my fuel pump before anybody was useing e85 gas

I would recommend Injector Dynamics for injectors. Tuners love them and they seem to tune really well.

Once you switch to E85 your going to need to flow a lot more but as anub1s said you will need 850cc minimum, which will leave you will little room to upgrade turbo's further down the road.
