Full throttle start up then no throttle control

All,

New problem with an STOCK 2006 WRX. 2.5l.

Car starts up and goes to full throttle, I shut it down right away. Then car is very hard to start, after which there is very little or no throttle input. engines idles up and down between 500 and 2k, and still no throttle input.

Any ideas?

Yes, the CEL is on. I do not have a code checker.

Get the code pulled at a local parts store, O'Reillys or Autozone will do it for free. After that you can pinpoint what the problem is. Without that code, you'll be chasing and replacing things for no reason.

I'd agree. Some more information would really help. I always barrow advanced autos or autozones code reader for free when I have a code.
