    Padding?

I have a carbon fiber hood installed on my WRX but it seems like it rubs on my front-mounted intercooler's tubing and causes rattle noises. Anyone know what kind of padding would be good in this situation? I'm afraid the constant grinding will also cause a hole to open.

I've ziptied cut up pieces of silicone couplers onto my FMIC pipes where they rub. No problems in the last 10k miles.
