Burnt rubber after breaking from going fast.

If I ever up to 120mph+ and let off the accelerator, and brake I smell burnt rubber. Is the brakes or tires? and is the normal? and should one simply coast from a highspeed back down.

you better not be talking about in the city,
if its a track I would think your applying the brake to much and just don't press it down as much.

if this is in the streets,for some reason you have a death wish, and if you do have a death wish I have tons of mountains near me we could throw you down just let me know

You very well may be "breaking" things if you're "braking" hard from 120+ mph. That's not burnt rubber smell though that's the brake pads.
