The video(sound) is not relly good quality but im wondering what cause this noise ? Its doing that on my 3nd gear when the rpm is med+ or someting, Mostly when decelerate.
Anyone know what cause that?
this is on a 03 wrx with about 190 000 km, 118000 miles
im using Subaru Extra-S gear oil.

edit: when I Hold the shifter completly in, the noise we hear in the video stop.
Also I don't have hard time to shift in 3nd gear or anything.

As part of the troubleshooting process, you may as well replace all the bushings while you're there. That's a routine maintenance type thing, as the rubber wears down from use / exposure to the elements. Pick up the complete TiC kit.Originally Posted by Boby25
