    HELP! Knocking sound from engine when cold start.

    I have a 2008 wrx bone stock. Recently i been hearing this faint knocking sound coming from the engine. The car has 38k on it. Anybody out there having the same issue? What do guys think it is?

    Does it go away? If so probably piston slap. You're under warranty, have them look at it and document your concern.
