    Shift linkage HELP

So today I was driving, I hear a snap then my shifter gets very loose. Luckily I was still able to find the gears and was able to drive home. When I got home I put it up on jacks to find that my shift linkage fell off of its mounting bolt. Then under closer inspection the bolt that it would mount to broke directly when the threads were leaving there no where for a nut to secure the linkage/bushings on. What is my next step? Can a mounting bracket be bought and installed? About a month prior I installed a twm short shifter and front shifter bushings. Thanks in advance for any help!

wrx with a 5 speed right?
go to the dealer im 90% sure that piece bolts onto the transmission
they'll be able to find a pic and see if its a bolt on part

for now the only thing i can really think of is to "tie" it in place with a rope or coat hangar or something?
it was probably over torqued, just not enough to break right away so watch out next time
