another P0420 thread

The service manual shows you a picture of exactly where it is. There are only two. One before the turbo and one after. By merely looking under the car you would see exactly where the sensor is located. The service manual will give the full troubleshooting "tree" for a P420 DTC. It is located in the OBDII section. Have you even tried looking through the manual at all?

lol yea. There's so much stuff to go through. I looked through it for 3 hours and found nothing. I'm probably going to end up taking to a shop. Really don't want to but like I said I have no time for this

Seriously.......It took me 5 minutes to find it. Go to en (H4DOTC)>Engine Diagnostics>Diagnostic Procedure with DTC>P0420. The rear O2 sensor is located in the 3rd (last) cat in the system. You would have immediately seen it by jacking up the car and looking.
