    Brake question

A couple months ago I replaced my pads and rotors on my 06 wrx. I got off brand parts and I feel like my brakes got worse. I saved some money and bought better rotors. My old ones are so rusted I feel like thats what causing a slight squeak too, and it looks horrible. Since the pads have plenty of life in them, is it ok to reuse them on my new rotors? They have about 2000 miles on them. Although they are not the best pads, I feel like i do not want to waste them. Will it mess up my new rotors?

powerslots are nice rotors... I'd hate to see some crap pads eat through them fast.
