03 WRX Semi Cracked Heads, holding pressure. Can I still use them?????

I have been reading about cracked heads for 02 and 03 WRX's is incredibly common. I just took my heads off cause I thought I had bad exhaust valves. I took my heads into my mechanic and he said all my valves are good. He ran a compression test @ 60psi and the heads did not leak. He did see some cracks as well.

I replaced my short block when the car had 68k on it, currently my car has 146k on the drive train.

I have been getting mis fire codes for the last 10k miles. Replaced spark plugs, fuel pump, and finnally ran a compression test. 1 cylinder showed 50 lbs, the other 3 cylinders were 145+ lbs.

Question, is it safe to use my current semi cracked heads?

If you want to risk full failure.. sure, run em. If not... I'd highly suggest either having them worked and repaired or replacing them altogether.

Replacement is your best bet on a reliable setup.

if they're cracked, they're toast. Don't waste your time trying to repair them.
