P0335 car won't start

Im getting the crank position sensor code on my 02 wrx

The car will not start or crank over


I bought a replacement sensor, where does it go? If someone could post a diagram or detailed instructions that would be great.

Look on top of the motor toward the front near the A/C and alternator, on the top of the block.

Would I need to remove the alternator to get to the sensor?

I replaced the sensor and my car still won't start. Could it be the starter?
