    Check engine, blinking cruise light

I have a 2006 WRX with about 114k on it. After driving it for about 45 mins I got the check engine light and the cruise light started blinking. I looked it up on my accesport and I got the error code 'P0021' It says "'A' camshaft position - timing over - advanced or System performance (Bank 2)"
I have no idea what this means. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
    - Alex

List all the mods you have. It may be a phantom misfire code from a lightened flywheel.

    -Perrin cat-back exhaust
    -Cobb accessport
Neither of those should cause a camshaft issue.

Sounds like your timing belt slipped, but how your engine wouldn't be destroyed is beyond me.

I reset my ECU using my AP and it hasn't came up again. I'll give it a little and we will see what happens.

I believe so, around 100k. I bought it used with 106k and that was the first thing I checked. I looked at it and it seemed fine.

If you can, verify that the timing belt has been changed. What oil are you using?
