~$170 seem about right for a 2004 OEM front O2 sensor?

The original is on its way out. I got a $170 quote on a OEM Subaru replacement. My neighbor (an auto tech) says an O2 sensor runs anywhere from $100 - $300.

There's someone selling their used one on here.

The sensors are Bosch if I remember correctly. Check advance autoparts or oreilly's and see if they carry the bosch replacement.

Just looked at AAP... they had a rear for 133 for your year... couldn't find the front, but I'm sure if you call them you could find one.

There are universal front O2 sensors you can get for around $130, but they tend to burn out quickly. For the Subaru specific sensor $170 sounds right.

Guess I should have phrased it differently - my neighbor got the quote as one of the dealers in their auto group sells Subaru. He mentioned the $100 - $300 before getting the part #.

A quick Internet search shows $170 is pretty good. Was just curious if anyone here knew off the top of their head. Thanks.
