new to my just perch aced 2005 wrx, new brake pads in front, oil change full synthetic, and k@n recharge filter. i thought the car was fast before but now wow! the filter realy needed to be cleaned the oil was ok but ready to be changed and the front pads where close to the warning strip. now the turbo wines up faster sounds better and the car idles great now. very happy with my 2005 wrx. lots of people that have seen the car have never seen one with so many mods. under the hood and under the car. my profile picture has changed to the car and my avitar picture is now what it looks like under the hood.

Be careful with the k&n recharge, if you use too much oil you can coat/foul your MAF which will cause your car to run badly and throw codes. If you use too little oil, it doesn't filter properly and you end up with a snail trail of super fine dust in your intake.
I was a K&N guy for the longest time, but am now a dry filter convert, and run an AFE PRO DRY S reusable/cleanable filter. Best filter I have ever owned.
