EGT sensor. My guess is that you had an aftermarket uppipe installed?

If you do, I'd be curious why the EGT sensor is still there. Where is it located? Are you throwing any CEL?

Look at the female end of the receptor (by the boost control system). Is there a resistor in there?

    EDIT:
I looked at the picture again, you can see the female end has been covered with electrical tape, so I'm guessing the resistor fix has been applied. Don't worry, the EGT sensor is merely there to monitor the health of the catalytic converter in the uppipe. If the uppipe has been gutted or you are using an aftermarket uppipe with an EGT bung, I'd remove the EGT sensor and replace it with a plug... just one less item that can break free and bombard your turbo
