Boost gauge only shows 7psi :/

I have a 2004 wrx and recently got the engine rebuilt due to bad rings then had a horrible misfire in cyl 1 then replaced plugs and thr coil for cyl 1 and got a boost gauge installed. My car now lacks accel and boost horribly and still have the occasional misfire or stuttering. Any info on how to fix would help alot! Just bought it a month ago -.-

Mods: k&n typhoon intake short ram
Turbo xs rfl recirculating bov and greddy evo 2 catback with a small leak by thr catalytic but have the gasket to replace

Best thing would be to talk to the person who just rebuilt it for you. Sounds like you could have a boost leak, but if your having a misfire they you have bigger problems.

Are you tuned for the intake? Catback wouldn't effect boost that extremely.

Yes it should be around 12 IIRC. You need to be tuned for the intake. You could be running wastegate pressure. Your need a tune.

Yes if the rebuild isn't all stock parts then it need to be tuned. if you have a stock turbo, ad the seals are going you should have oil burning. Lists all mods and explain what was done in you rebuild.

Yes that's called wastegate pressure. Easiest way to fix it, is to tune the car.

There is old v1 and there is the newer v2. V2 is definitely better and runs about $350 used if you look around. Make sure you get the one for your car. Ithink is sub-002, but don't quote me on that.

But you need a protube because of your intake. Accessports are for stock or Cobb intakes.
