The cat does restrict some sound, but a dp would help too. And of course a bigger turbo

If the seals in the turbo go bad you should have white smoke behind your car yamaha_rider suggested i needed a tune and in the process of getting an acessport for a stage 1 tune then go from there bc if ur car is stuck in economy mode the turbos output is cut in half and my car basically hits a giant wall when i try to boost it goes to 7 then no further no matter how much i mash the throttle i would say either your bearings bad or seals if u smell oil or you may need a rebuild bc ur piston rings control alot also thats what happened to me good luck man these guys know what they are talking about!!! Trust me haha

We know because we have been there. I have oil burning on the first start up of the day, as my valves are going bad. I also purchased my car used and it had a tune on, so I also was only hitting 7 psi.

Either: *You don't have the restrictor pill *You have a boost leak *The BCS is malfunctioning *The ECM is detecting severe knock and is defaulting to wastegate boost.

You cannot just "fix the ecu from detecting a knock". First you have to verify there is knock and second you have to determine why there is knock. And there is no EGT valve. It is a thermocoupler. Post the exact code. I honestly would take the car to a professional to diagnose.
