    Coolant reservoir

I busted the filler cap off of my metal coolant reservoir that sits atop the engine neer the IC on my 2004 wrx non-sti. I need a replacement and was wondering if the weapon r hybrid will work for my purpose. Also I was considering using jb weld to reatach the filler to the tank. Any suggestions?

Buy the authentic Subaru part. There are several variations. Avoid black metal reservoirs. If metal, go silver. I know there are black plastic reservoirs from later years, but am unsure whether they will fit. If they do then I don't see any reason to avoid those.

Ask your dealer whether they sell just the top of the reservoir (it is two pieces held together by bolts). If not, find a nice wreck IMO.
The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry. Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, 1929
