    For 2011 Subaru WRX/STi owner oil change questions?

    Hey subby lovers,

    I was wondering did anyone received an new manual from Subaru that now all oil change needed to be change around every 7,500miles...?
    When i have my car i go change the oil every 3000- 3500 but after i received this new manual from Subaru, i havent get my car to oil change yet (now its around 4400.) so am I save till i hit 7,500?

    Yes you should have received an addition to the manual that says that oil changes are at 7500 miles & that only Subaru synthetic oil should be used for all turbo engines.Yes,your first oil change should be at 7500 miles.Only make sure that they use the right oil.

    Either way...keep an eye on your oil level. Thats a long time without changing the oil and could go low. Its natural.

    Thank you will check the oil level later today before i go out...So i go back to Subby dealership for oil change the last 3 time...the first and second i changed around 3k-3500 but the third time i haven't done it..i assume subby dealership use synthetic oil for 11' WRX right?

    Do not assume anything. Ask that they use the correct oil and get a written receipt stating they did so.
