    car jack for lowered cars

i was wondering what everyone who has a lowered car does about having a jack in the car for emergencies.

the one that comes with the car won't fit, especially if the tire is low.

Are there any small, lightweight options?

The stock jack is pretty low compared to the pinch welds on mine. I have to have it extended to about 1/3 of the way to get it to make contact with the pinch welds. How much is your car dropped?

I just use AAA. The card will fit nicely in my glove box or wallet and works with any car in my opinion . Although, now that I think of it, it may be worth warning them if your car is lowered in advance.

When I had the BMW (lowered w 2" of clearance) I was able to sneak two 1" 2x4s in the trunk under the cover. So if something ever happened, I'd be able to drive up on the 2x4s and get under it with the stock jack.

Looking back on that now I'm not sure if it would've worked if I had a flat or something....Luckily I never had to use them.
