Brake changing issue

I have an 02' wrx and I'm attempting to change all of my brakes for the first time. My problem is when I undid both of the 14mm bolts behind the rotor instead of me being able to slide a part of the caliber and expose the brake pads the whole thing is sliding off brake pads and all. What am I doing wrong??

Did you undo the 14mm bolts on the caliper or the bolts that hold the caliper to the mounting bracket? If you did the ones to the mounting bracket the entire assembly will come off pads and all. You want to do the 14mm bolts that attach the to parts of the caliper.

I only found the two bolts...I didn't find any other ones

Ok now I found which bolts I was SUPPOSED to undo...
