It's LED, not really a wear item, should last more than a few months. It should fall under the 12 mo. 12k bumper to bumper but call the dealer, they'll know for sure

Someone pointed this out to me today on the way home from work. I looked here: https://www.subaru.com/my-subaru/warranties-2011.html but didn't find a definitive answer. I think it's a wear item, but I've been wrong before!
I'm scheduled to have my oil change (7,500 miles) this Saturday and I was going to bring it up. If they're going to charge me though I'll just do it myself. Thoughts?

bulbs usually arent covered under a factory warranty, but i would start throwing a fit if they dont cover it, the car is practially new.

2010 WRX Limited Hatch - spt short throw...for now
If they were really bulbs, I would agree. Being that they are LEDs, you might have a better chance. It's going to cost at least a few hundred bucks to replace the assembly, I would throw a fit as well if they don't replace it

*Update*
Dealer said they would order the part and take care of it for me. It should come in next week and I'll get it fixed shortly thereafter.
Good to hear.....those LEDs will light for YEARS, given the designed duty cycle. Definitely a warranty item.
