Want 03 WRX to be winter machine

I bought a 03 WRX from my friend for a very low price. Has 50K miles.

Short Throw Shifter
Turbo Kit
Blitz Boost Controller
Blitz Short Ram Intake
Apex Exhaust
18 alloy rims and low profile all seasons
Lowered
Suspension
Blowoff Valve

Safe to say I got a good deal, and its a very well maintained car. But he hardly ever drove it at all in the Winter, because he had an EVO.

I want to make this car into being more than capable in the winter.

What are your first suggestions?

Depending on whether or not your part of the country gets snow in the winter I would put the suspension back to stock height and get some Rally Armor mud flaps. If it gets cold there I would make sure that the block heater battery and anti-freeze were all in good shape. Also, winter wheels and good snow/ice tires.

A lot of that parts list makes me worried. Was the car properly tuned with all of that on it?
