Intake manifold will have to come off, then you can clean them using methods described in various how-to's.

Its an extremely long shot but you could try running some seafoam through the intake manifold, I have cured more than one problem with seafoam...
do u guys hav like a link were it can guide me step by step in how to remove this??
the factory service manuals are here, Impreza Manuals | ken-gilbert.com
be careful around the turbo inlet pipe, they like to tear over time, the oil wears them out. also be careful not to tear the coolant hoses when you are attempting to get them disconnected from the surge tank. I have done quite a few of the WRX fuel line recalls and I cant think of one that I have done where that coolant hose that goes to the bottom of the surge tanks hasnt cracked or split, no matter how careful you are....damn corrosion!!! haha
ok.. thats great.. thanx alot EvoEatr.. im going to give it a shot..
by any chance, do u guys now the part # for the tgv electric motor(drivers side)???
