On my 04 WRX, the trim around my back wheel well's are pretty rusty, old, and loose. When I take them off, there is a substantial amount of dirt underneath them. So I was wondering if these trim pieces are doing more harm than good to my car. Would it be better to take them off? I do not want rust to form because of these trim pieces.
