02 wrx demolished front left suspension

    Hi guys,
I had an unfortunate run-in with a divider last weekend in the rain in my 02 wrx sedan.

I'm now in the process of repairing/upgrading the entire front left suspension, bumper and fog lamp via esurance and Subaru of Las Vegas shop, and I had a few questions:

    1) Does anyone know if the SPT upgrade to aluminum lower control arm comes with the necessary bushings (ie front and/or rear). I believe the kit is Subaru SPT part number B2010FE251DS
    2) Are there any parts in the lower suspension that often get overlooked by appraisers and repair shops during repair? They seemed to do a pretty thorough inspection, and also generated an itemized report for me.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    1. Just call the parts dept of your local dealer and ask them what it comes with. Their books/computers will have a detailed list.
    2. Appraisers always overlook things. You're going to need basically every component of the suspension it sounds like. So take your estimate, get under the car, and start checking off parts to make sure everything that makes up the suspension is listed. If they did miss anything, you can always get them to add it to the repair later.
