Anything that's going to be strong enough to lift the trailblazer is going to be too heavy for 2 people to carry down a set of stairs, even with a dolly.

I was looking into getting a lift for the wrx, and my dads trailblazer. We need something that is portable. We don't have a garage, so we would like to store it in the basement.
At first we looked at this: EZ CAR LIFT - FREE-STANDING USE-ANYWHERE CAR LIFT! FAST. SAFE. STRONG.EASY.
It works as far as portability, but my dads trailblazer exceeds it's limits. (I also don't know if I trust it's build)
Now we're looking at this one: 6000 Lb. Capacity Scissor Lift with Hydraulic Pump - Lifts & Stands - Automotive & Motorcycle
It can lift both vehicles, and is cheap (price-wise) which is good. The problem being that we won't be able to carry it down the stairs into the basement.
Anyone know of anything else that might fit both of my needs?

It seems legit. Some people had a few complaints, but it seemed ok.
I'm thinking about maybe just getting 4 jack stands instead. I just need to find some that would be able to hold the car a bit further off the ground than the ramps i have now.
ha dig a hole and lay in it! i had this method for my old 95 celica....

I ended up ordering 2 sets of these: http://www.jcwhitney.com/double-lock...DetailTabPanel
I got the 2 ton model. That should be good enough for both vehicles, and was cheap.
