    Whats up? was replacing some hoses and cleaning and i came across a tampered sensor or switch that has a wire in theory going to my guages..(in which 2 are un functional..only my boost/vac guage works) so.. heres a pic? what is it?

    located almost directly under pcv valve under throttle body, on the block..

    Its not reading anything.. lmao as i said I only have 1 working gauge. also i dont know who was trying to hook up what? If i know what the sensor is for then i can properly install it.

    Was there ever another wire connected to it? There's very little you can run with only one wire...

    It's an oil pressure sender/sensor that was obviously installed by a caveman by the amount of Permatex gooped on it.

    Well given that it's an oil pressure sensor, it was feeding to the oil pressure gauge. What does your car say for oil pressure? Normal or messed up?

    Doesnt work at all.. ever..lol the guage lights up sometimes thats about it..
