My compass seems to be stuck... I've seen it switch between sw and se, but not often, and nothing else. I will go through the calibration procedure soon, but the fact that it once worked, and problems going around in this thread suggest a deeper problem.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem, or if anyone had any ideas...

No experience, don't have a fancy mirror on my bugeye

Magnetometer's probably fried. Time to buy a new one if it bothers you (might want to confirm this...)

Oddly enough the mirror on my bug eye is stuck on North or North West. Been like that since I got it in July but have always been to lazy to research it. I'll be interested to see if you are able to find a solution. Thanks for posting it haha.

Edit: I did try the calibration a while ago but it did not fix it.

Definitely try the calibration first. Do it at least 2-3 times. I had an old car where this happened and I think I did the calibration 4 times and then it started working. I must have looked like a crazy person driving around in circles so many times.....

If that doesn't do it, time to replace the part.

Glad to hear that worked. How many times did you have to try the calibration?
