My compass seems to be stuck... I've seen it switch between sw and se, but not often, and nothing else. I will go through the calibration procedure soon, but the fact that it once worked, and problems going around in this thread suggest a deeper problem.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem, or if anyone had any ideas...

Edit: I did try the calibration a while ago but it did not fix it.
Definitely try the calibration first. Do it at least 2-3 times. I had an old car where this happened and I think I did the calibration 4 times and then it started working. I must have looked like a crazy person driving around in circles so many times.....
If that doesn't do it, time to replace the part.

yup, did the calibration and it works... for now, at least.
And I only got one funny look while doing it![]()

Glad to hear that worked. How many times did you have to try the calibration?

Just once... it took about 3 full circles.
