    Occassional hesitation on WOT?

I have a 2010 WRX, OEM Cobb stage 1 tune. 7K miles. Drives great. However, I am having an issue:

Sometimes when accelerating from a roll in 1st or second gear at WOT, there is a hesitation/loss of power at high RPM. This only happens on rolls with the clutch fully engaged; never during standing launches. What could this be? A tuning issue? Boost leak? Traction control? (didnt notice any lights). Thanks.

How high of RPM? And has it always been like this since flashing? Or did it just start?

If it's new then you may have gotten a bad batch of fuel. If it's always like this then maybe try another map like the ACN91 and see if it changes anything.

It happens at 5000 rpm, approximately. Just happened recently; not since reflashing which was a while ago. I wouldn't know how to generate datalogs.

What are you using to reflash?

Old thread, but I wanted to say that the problem was solved. It was the traction control. The problem became more noticeable with winter tires. Quite simply, the tires were breaking loose (even at 2nd gear!), and engaging the traction control. The traction control light flashes so fast it was hard to notice. There seems to be an annoying delayed response in the traction control system, though.

Switching traction control off completely eliminates the problem.
