    You don't need it immediately but you should it soon. Subaru recommends 105,000 miles for a belt change.

    i drive her quite hard so i think its a good idea. What is the longest a timing belt has lasted ?

    I had one on my '85 honda prelude last over 200k, but not recommended. With my last subie I went 125k and decided to change it, took it off and it looked like it had quite a bit of life left in it. Better safe than sorry though...
