    But you're running this on a stage 2 tune that's meant for stock injectors and the stock turbo?

    well i bought it from someone and he said he put in a stage 2 reprogrammable computer. Is running what i have off of this bad? or am i just not getting optimal power

    It's bad in multiple ways. Don't drive the car till this is remedied. Running larger injectors than you're tuned for can cause problems as can running a larger turbo that's not taken into account.

    Where are you located (city/state)?
    Is the check engine light (CEL) on?
    Have you seen the CEL flash when in Boost?

    That is unless the previous owner is a ritard and doesn't even know what he did to the car and it's tuned properly.

    IMHO the only way to go about this is to either take it looked over by a tuner, or straight have them retune you.

    Im in Mass. near Boston, there is no check engine light on, and it does not come on when in boost.

    Then it's probably fine.

    Did the previous owner mention the shops name?

    Edit: To expand on what I was saying. The ECU is likely tuned to run the mods the car has.

    The Squealing you hear could be a host of other things, already mentioned in this thread, and you should have this issue checked out.

    Has it done this sense you bought the car?
    Is it a squeal or maybe more of a grinding or knocking noise?

    CobbTuning is a brand of Engine Management tuning software. Cobb has a reflash tool called an AccessPort (AP).
    Please read their marketing material here

    In Cobb's speak there are several types of tune. The following are the most commonly talked about here.
    • OTS - Off The Shelf - a stock map built in to the AP, it's a generic map made to fit most cars of a typical description.
    • ProTune - A tune made specifically for a certain car by a professional.

    From the description of the OTS i believe that is what he did. because he said he never hooked it up to a dyno, but he had something that told him about what was going on like a dyno would

    Did the car from with the AccessPort?
    If so then you can find out the map information buy plugging it in to the ODBII port under the steering wheel.
