    I highly doubt it. Datalog... you'll see that you're actually idling at about 750 RPM (it just looks that way on your Tach).

    IDK, my 04 WRX idles at 1k on cold start and starts to putter causing the dash lights to dim a little before popping up to 600-750. Constatly.

    Cold start idle should be higher...mine is up near 1500. Quick tap of the gas and it drops to about 1200 until it begins to actually warm up. This has been consistent on my last two STIs.

    my 08 idles 750 warm, 1500 cold. like Mickie said, i can tap the gas and it drops down to 1200. if its real cold it will idle at 2000 until it generates some heat.
