Crank no Start, No Lights either

Hi guys im fairly new to Subaru, so its gonna sound very noob to you guys. sorry.

I own a 02 wrx for almost 5 months now, my car is all stocked except for the aftermarket rims and exhaust the owner be4 me put on. I had no problems but just bout 2 weeks ago my car started acting weird. Itll crank but no start, but after sometime it would start. Then it got even more weird, engine would die on me even as im driving, but it would sometimes continue or if not ill just have to restart the car and its fine. Then last week while i was at school, my car died on me while going up hill in the parking garage. At first i thought it was my battery, so i jumped it but still no start. So i got it towed back to my place. I then thought i blew a fuse, but all of them are fine. I then took in my alternator for a test run at auto zone, and it passed. So im completely lost. My clock, radio, and interior light still works, but i have no head lights, AC and any of the lights on my dash (check engine etc...) The car still cranks fine but as i said there just seems to be no electrical power. So im at a complete lost, I dont want to take it to the shop because it doesnt seem like its a major breakdown...So any info would be nice, i have been lookin around on the net for about a week now and researching but it seems like i cant find anything that would solve this issue.

Do you know if the previous owner played around with the electrical system? I have seen many threads similar to this issue and it normally has its roots in faulty wiring.

First thing to do is check the connections on the battery.

Also fit an extra strap/connection from the body get a solid
earth point onto the negative on the battery.

I had an ongoing problem with my car form a few weeks.

New battery, fuses blowen, changed alternator.

Turns out in my case bad earthing.

Car has never being starting or running better.

    Good luck.
