sti exhaust, i want a quiet flowmaster sound, any suggestions?

I just got a custom full 3'' exhaust installed on my '02 bug eye. It has an oval magnaflow muffler and 4'' double wall tip. It isnt too loud but very deep and throaty sound. If you want to quiet it down even more just throw a resonator on it. It will quiet it down but still have the patented suby grumble. I paid $300 for the install and the oval muffler tucks up perfect and looks stock. Go to any exhaust performance muffler type shop and it will be way cheaper and better than buying a cat/turbo-back system.

I'd say buy the downpipe off of the internet... I wouldn't let a muffler shop do the bellmouth portion.

i got a catless downpipe and resonated midpipe off ebay, and then got a buddy of mine to weld the axleback portion to a flowmaster series 40 black muffler with a chrome magnaflow tip... looks close to stock and I i'm super happy with it. Granted its not that quiet though....
