flickering oil light when idleing

for about 2 weeks now ive noticed that when im stopped and my 06 wrx is just idling the oil light will either come on or jut flicker a bit but if i rev it a little bit i turns off. it also seems to come on sometimes when going in reverse....any one run into this problem. and yes there is oil in my car haha

Without you being able to tell us what the oil pressure is there is not much we can do. Either the filter is clogged,the sending unit is borked,the pick up is broken/clogged or your oil pump is on the way out. Either way its time to pony up for an oil pressure gauge or take it to the dealer.
