    check engine light

i have an 04 wrx with the check engine light on. i had 4 shops hook up an obdm reader it wont let the reader get as far as seeing the code.it just reads check fuse box and ground, so obviously we used a fuse tester, tested all the fuses n ground.theyre fine. check engine lights on and i think this is being caused by a bad harness by some miracle the car is starting ..any thoughts or ideas?

In the years and years I have been working on Subarus I have NEVER seen this happen, Did you take it to the dealer? What did they say? First make sure the green PDI connectors aren't plugged in. Do you notice any drive ability problems? How many miles are on the vehicle? Have you had any recent work done?
