Exclamation HELP! my '08 wrx won't start!!

    hey everyone

I have had an 08 wrx since thursday with 22k miles on it.

The car won't start. at all. no lights, no nothing.

it's like it is literally dead.

the car is completely stock, and i'm bugging out because they say these cars are reliable but it's been a week and it's dead on me. this car was not beat on at all, but now i'm worried i will be paying an arm&leg for maintenance all the time.

what's wrong with the car?? my dad thinks a fuse is blown, but i need some expert advice

    thanks in advanced guys

Were the lights left on or anything? Have you tried jump/push starting it? Check your fuses, battery connections, and alternator as well...

Probably a dead battery. You likely left a light on or something.

If the battery is dead it won't let anything turn on, get the battery on a charger, or try to jump start it. Then take it to an autoparts store to have it checked. Running a battery dead can ruin a battery extremely quickly.

Don't sweat. If worst case, you've got the warranty. But sounds like a kaput battery or blown main fuse.

Thanks for everything guys. It turns out that I left the door slightly open and it killed the battery. My brother fixed it and it's running beautifully again.

    again, thanks.
