    Premium fuel shortage

In Alberta we've had an awful storm season, lots of hail, intense winds, etc...

Gas refineries have been damaged, production impacted. As it stands right now most gas stations, chains and independents, are running out, or low on premium fuel. I'm tuned for 91, but run 92 for the most part, occasionally 94.

If there's no 91 available do I run 89 or 90 and NOT boost? I really don't feel like pouring 43 bottles of octane booster in my tank.

Yes,just keep boost low and top off the tank with the highest octane you can find later.

...Just looking at it from an opportunistic point of view.

Unfortunately no E85 here. Have been pondering meth however, maybe next year. I've blown my luxury budget for the year
