    Boost problem? maybe normal?

Hey guys I have a 2002 wrx its completely stock no mods. The car feels great drives great but, its only boosting at like .08 mpa is this normal is that wat it should be boosting at stock? I dont know this is the first wrx I have owned. When I did the research it says it should be pushing 13.5 psi which is like .09 or .1. What do you think?

.08 is = to about 10-11 psi... that is a little low... has it been hot and humid in ur area? Many factors effect ur boost levels... ur ecu will pull timing and in relation turbo dynamics will pull boost based on atmospheric pressure intake temp and other factors..

Edit- forgot to ask what gear are u measuring ur boost..... gears will read higher boost consecutively...4th higher then 3rd 3rd higher then t2nd and so on...

what gear were you in while measuring boost?

what were you using to measure it? (boost gauge, accessport, etc)

I was measuring in 2nd and 3rd, and using the stock subaru boost gauge that is mounted on the steering column. I think the gauge may be off a little because when you shut the car off it dosnt go to .0 it stays a little under that.
Also yes the temp out side is like 95 and a little humid.

You need to measure in 4th or 5th as the stock ECU was tuned for max boost in those gears.
