o2 sensor, turbo wheel and valves are orange.

I recently changed my turbo and exhaust manifolds. One thing I noticed was that my o2 sensor, turbine wheel and valves are orange. I am not sure if this is common or what. Have you all ever seen this?

I can post up a pic of the valve later. I tried searching and found no real info. I wonder if I was running rich or something.

Normally I fill up at Costco. Could it be bad gas?

Rich would be black. Are you using orange antifreeze? I agree with Anub1s,could very well be a gas additive.

You use Octane booster? It will turn spark plugs and everything down the line an orangish red.

I agree with the others, that's an additive doing that. Or just too much Vitamin C in your diet.

I did put in some fuel injector cleaner about a month or two ago. You guys are probably right and the cleaner turned my stuff orange. I wonder if this orange stuff would kill an o2 sensor. Soon I will go and try to scrape it off and see if it is just a coating or something worse.

    Thanks for the help.

Only if used repeatedly in large doses, or used when an 02 sensor was on its way out.

Injector cleaner and octane booster share a lot of common components and sometimes only differ in marketing and label.
