Hole in Downpipe: Downpipe questions to follow

Had my 2002 WRX at the mechanic's and he noticed a major hole/leak in my downpipe.

I don't want it to hurt MPGs or burn up an O2 sensor, so I'm looking for replacements. I'd like to find a used stock one to save some money, but also looked at aftermarket ones, too. I found an HKS for around $180 on ebay.

Is there any CEL risk by running aftermarket downpipes? What should I know? I just need the car to be a reliable car... and I don't want to sacrifice reliability for performance. Help me out here, please!

    Thanks!

Yes, you will run a CEL with a catless downpipe. And the HKS one is not exactly the ideal style. If you're in it just for a cheap replacement though, then it would be fine.
