Any one use/prefer Delvac MX 15w40

    Hey guys

Drive a JDM 2002 STI. My piston fried thanks to bad tuning and detonation so my motor has been somewhat rebuilt with the following..

    1. Manley Pistons- 92.5 mm
    2. ACL Bearings main and rod
    3. Cosworth Cometic gasket
    4. ARP Rod bolts
    5. STI Forged Con-rods( stock with EJ207 V7)

I use car as a daily but do tend to drive hard if you know what I mean..and go dragging every now and then.

I've heard good stuff about Mobil Delvac MX 15w40. Anyone have any experience with this oil, and if you think its worth switching to from what I usually use, Castrol Edge 10w60 ??

Whats your location? That will dicatate the type of oil you should run to some degree. Climates that are cold at night but hod durring the day might require something like a 5w40 or 5w50.
