It probably is running rich considering the ECU has no idea what it's doing.

    Unamused brfatal is unamused.

The previous owner should be lynched for selling the car in such a state. Unless...you got a good deal?

Well he said it was an auction car. I'm sure where ever it was someone just ripped off a bunch of expensive stuff to have either for their car or whatnot. Or maybe they parted them out for some extra cash. Who knows but it does suck.

I feel embarrassed that after a year after having my car tuned, I realized the tuner had launch control enabled as well. When someone isn't moving at a light, I find it slightly less annoying then honking my horn so I rev my engine at them. Most of the time I don't try to go higher than 3k but I guess this time I did and it stopped at 4.3k. I am tempted to try it but I guess I don't have a place to launch my car safely or have a real need to.

So my guess is if it's somewhat bouncing off a limiter at 4.5kish, it's LC. I would assume something worse would happen and it would be more unpredictable if it were a problem with the MAF. Also issues while the clutch was engaged would be present as well.

Uhh....did you not read where he says he has no maf sensor at all? Do me a favor and unplug your maf. It'll drive normal but really rich and you will not be able to rev past a certain point. Usually around 4k since it's in limp mode.

if there's no MAF sensor... it may be because the car was tuned on MAP.

I can sell you all that you're missing except the MAF it's self.
