    does anybody know a quick tutorial on how to tighten the belt on a 02 WRX? thanks!!

    Which belt? ALT/PS or ALT? either way...remove the shield covers for the drive belts, loosen the lock bolt or the lock nut and turn the adjuster bolt....than tighten down the lock nut or bolt and reinstall the belt cover...do a search on here I've seen some belt tutorials I believe on here before....

    Bump for what? The instructions given were complete. I'd not bother tightening the belt though, I'd replace them both with authentic Subaru belts instead. By now they are both done and tightening is IMO unlikely to fix any noise or chirping.
