    Stock Battery Replacement!

I recently noticed that my stock Subaru Battery was dying I checked the water and it was O.K. Now a little background the battery is 5 years old, so time to replace it. I purchased an Exide 725cca and im noticing that the battery cables arent long enough to reach the battery terminals. mostly all the batteries im finding at vendors locally are all the same. Is there a way I can make the cables reach?

Well... you could simply buy the cable and terminal clamps and redo it to whatever length you need.

However... what is different about these batteries that your cables won't reach?

+1^..I have never really had this problem with any aftermarket subaru batteries, I have an interstate in my WRX if that is any help.. 725 CCA is a pretty hefty battery, Most of the stock modern subaru batteries come rated I believe at 490 CCA....

its just where the positive and negative battery terminals are. compared to my stock subaru batter they are farther forward on the battery. I got it figured out. I just turned the battery at a slight angle. and it seems to work pretty well.
