    A/C help

i just got back from a road trip, and suddenly my AC started to squeak when I turned it on. its a loud squeaking noise that only happens when i turn on the ac. i dont think its the belt since its been done about 5 months ago so im not too sure what it is. i heard it might be the pulley? ac still works but it hasnt been recharged or anything yet. i live in San Francisco so i'm not too worried about having the AC right now but im just wondering if im doing any damage if i drive with it like that, without turning on the AC. and if anyone knows any good spots near san fran, to get it repaired/tune ups.

I'd check the tension on the belt again, they can loosen up a bit as they break in.
